Eva H. Hadfield

Eva H. Hadfield, 92, passed away December 3, 1998, in Malad.

She was born July 16, 1906, in Smithfield, Utah, a daughter of William and Mary Hawkes Hadfield. She graduated from Malad High School and later attended Albion, where she received her teaching degree.

Eva taught school for several years in Caribou County, Oxford, Cherry Creek and West Daniels. In 1936 she moved to California and worked for the California Department of Education until her retirement. She returned in 1983 to Malad, where she had since resided.

Eva is survived by a sister, Edith Simmons of Malad, and a brother, Ralph (Louaine) Hadfield, also of Malad. She is survived also by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Monday, December 7, 1998 at the Benson-Horsley Funeral Home. Burial was in the Malad City Cemetery.
