Euphemia May Zundel, age 98, dies Sunday home of daughter
Mrs. Euphemia May Welker Zundel, age 98, dies Sunday. Nov. 28 at 4:40 p.m. at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Lila Harris, of natural causes.
She was born May 12, 1878, at Bloomington, Bear Lake County, Idaho, a daughter of Adam David and Agnes Dock Welker.
She was married to Jacob Eberhart Zundel Sept. 19 1395 at Layton, Graham County, Ariz. The marriage was solemnized Oct. 12, 1898, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mr. Zundel died June 29, 1950.
She was a resident of Phoenix, Ariz., and came to Malad in 1971. She was an active member of the LDS Church.
Survivors include 5 sons and 3 daughters: Lloyd W. Zundel, Flint, Mich.; Ivan E. Zundel, El Paso, Texas; Ermel H. Zundel, Don W. Zundel, Carroll W. Zundel, Mrs. Luella Sims, all Phoenix, Ariz.; Mrs. Lila Harris, Malad; Mrs. Ralph A. (Frieda) MacDonald, Fresno, Calif.
30 grandchildren, 73 great-grandchildren, 19 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Saturday, Dec. 4 at 10 a.m. in the Phoenix First LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Bircher officiating. Interment in the Memorial Lawn
