Eunice Wheeler

OGDEN – Our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, Eunice Wheeler, entered into eternal peace on Sunday, July 8, 2001. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
She was born in Dubois, Idaho, to Thomas J. and Eunice George Maloney on October 29, 1916. She was reared and educated in Dubois, Idaho, where she met and married Clifford W. Wheeler, her loving partner, on May 18, 1939. He preceded her in death on January 6, 1976.
One of her pleasures was the many hours of service she gave while volunteering at St. Benedicts Hospital in Ogden. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Mom will always be remembered for the unconditional love and care she gave her family. Her greatest joy was being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was affectionately known as Euni.
Surviving are her children, Dorothy (Dr. Kenneth) Johnson, Racine, Wisconsin; Clifford (Jan) Wheeler Jr., Salt Lake City, Utah; Gary (Sandy) Wheeler, Layton, Utah; two sisters, Lois Sullivan, Mud Lake, Idaho; Marjorie (Bob) Bates, Idaho Falls, Idaho;12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Adam Wheeler; three brothers, George, Matthew, and Thomas Maloney; and four sisters, Dorothy Lingo, Mary Van Wormer, Helen Gauchay, and Mildred Maloney.
Funeral services and interment will be in Dubois, Idaho, on Saturday, July 14, 2001.
