Eugene H. Anderson, 70, Died 22 Oct. 1972 at Boise

Funeral services were conducted at Boise Thursday for Eugene H. Anderson, age 70, well-known Boise attorney, who died Oct. 22nd of natural causes. Cremation following.

Mr. Anderson was born at Samaria May 17, 1902 and on January 14, 1927 married Golda O. Williamson at Boise.

A son of Oneida pioneers, Mr. Anderson was raised in this area. He received his legal education at the University of Idaho, Moscow, graduating in 1926. He began law practice at Mountain Home and moved to Boise in 1938 where he established the law firm now known as Kaufman, Anderson & Ringert Lawyers. He was a recognized authority in Idaho on irrigation and water law and eminent domain.

Mr. Anderson was a member of the LDS Church, Boise Kiwanis Club, Boise Elks Lodge 310, Idaho Cattleman Association, Idaho Wool Growers Association, Idaho Mining Association, American and Idaho Bar Associations, Hillcrest Country Club, and Idaho Power Company Board of Directors.

His wife Golda died in 1971.

Surviving are a son, Richard J., Boise; two daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Caroly) Kennedy, St. Louis, Mo.; Mrs. James D. (Judith) Hearn, Portland, Ore.; two brothers, William L., and Roy, both of Moscow, two sisters, Mrs. Henry J. (Mabel) Middleton, Ogden, and Mrs. Lelan (Mary) Knudson, Salt Lake City; 12 grandchildren.
