MALAD – Eola C. Cantrell Jones, 79, of Malad, passed away Saturday, July 4, 1998, in the Oneida County Long Term Care Facility.

She was born November 26, 1918, in Oklahoma. She grew up and was educated in California and Arizona. She married Jim Clack and they were later divorced. She married Thomas L. (Tommy) Jones on May 25, 1966, in Reno, Nevada. They lived in Oroville, California, for several years and upon retirement in 1993, moved to Malad, where they have since resided.

She is survived by her husband, of Malad; three daughters: Constance (Don) Harwood, of Nevada; Evelyn (Bud) Wood and Mary (Doug) Johnson, both of California; two stepdaughters: Barbara (Mark) Verniew, of Bountiful, Utah; and Glenda (Bruce) Hudgens, of Sandy, Utah; numerous grandchildren and one sister: Bonnie Pirtle, of Oregon.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 9, 1998, at 12 noon in the Malad City Cemetery. The family suggests donations to the Oneida County Hospital c/o The Denee Jones Equipment Fund. Arrangements by the Benson-Horsley Funeral Home, Malad.
