Ella (Schwartz) Anderson

Ella Anderson, 89, passed away peacefully early Friday morning October 17, 1997. She was a 45 year resident of Pocatello and former resident of Malad, Idaho and Logan, Utah.
She was born April 23, 1908, in Logan, a daughter of Ernest Schwartz and Emma Binggeli Schwartz. She attended school in Malad after moving from Logan.
On September 15, 1927, she married Lyman A. Anderson in Logan, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple on May 8, 1959.
She was a member of the L.D.S. Church where she taught Primary, Sunday School and was a Relief Society visiting teacher. She liked to crochet, quilt and make afghans. She enjoyed cooking and being with her children and grandchildren. She greatly enjoyed having family and friends come to her house to visit and enjoy a meal.
Survivors include her son, Richard L. Anderson and his wife, Ranee, of Pocatello; two daughters, Ruth Ann Taylor and husband, Jerry, of Blackfoot, Idaho; and Kathy Goodwin and husband, Terry, of Pocatello, Idaho. Also, one sister, Ruth Schvaneveldt, of Weston, Idaho. She also has 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, four brothers and one sister.
Funeral services were held Monday, October 20, 1997, at 11:00 a.m. at Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel with Bishop Draney of the Pocatello L.D.S. 4th Ward conducting. Interment was in the Malad City Cemetery at 3:00 p.m.
