Edith Vanderwood Ericsson, age 62, a former Malad resident, died July 1, 1972 at her home in Salt Lake City. She was born September 2, 1909 at Malad, a daughter of Evan and Annie Thomas Vanderwood. She was married to John Nielsen and later divorced. She later married James Ericsson and they were divorced. She was a graduate of Malad High School, active member of the LDS Church, and retired as an employee of Bell Telephone Co., Salt Lake City, May 5, 1972.

Surviving are a son, Craig Ericsson, Los Angeles; two grandchildren; brother and sister, Howard E. Vanderwood, Malad; Mrs. Earl H. (Carol) Dodson, Los Angeles, CA.
