Earl G. Allen

Earl G. Allen, 86, lifetime Malad resident, returned to his Heavenly Father July 3, 2005.

He was born April 21, 1919, in Ridgedale (Pocatello Valley), Idaho, a son of Spencer F. and Sarah Darley Allen. He was raised and educated in Malad.

Earl married Lorraine Stocking February 8, 1952, in the Logan LDS Temple. She passed away on October 15, 1999.

He had farmed all of this life in the Malad area, Earl loved farming, spending time with his grandkids, and attending family activities. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He is survived by a son: E. Spencer (Denise) Allen of Las Vegas, Nevada: daughters: Hannah “Ann” Crowder of Riverdale, Utah; Nellie-K (Calvin Dean) Hamilton of Malad; Saralee Allen of Pocatello; also, a son-in-law: Odell Hatch of Pocatello; 11 grandchildren: Cybil, Andrew, Jessie, Robert, Shaun, Amber, Kimberlee, Kevin, Michelle, Brian and Lori; seven great-grandchildren: Vivian, Mariah, Erica, Brittany, Anthony, Shadon, Amberanna.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; two sisters; one grandson, Wayne Allen Crowder.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 8, 2005, at 12 noon in the Horsley Funeral Home, 132 W. 300 N., Malad. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday evening from 10:30-11:30 a.m. and on Friday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Burial will follow in the Malad City Cemetery
