Arimo……..Donna Jean Myers Hansen, 85 of Chubbuck, and former longtime Arimo resident, passed away on Wednesday August 8, 2012, following a prolonged illness. She was born October 2, 1926 in Arimo, Idaho, a daughter of Noah W. and Alta May Wharton Myers. She grew up and was educated in Arimo and was a graduate of Arimo High School. She married Chet Hansen in 1945 at Pocatello. They farmed in the Arimo and Rockland areas. While living in Buhl and Twin Falls, Donna worked for the Coca Cola Distributing Co. for several years. Following the death of Chet in 1985, she moved to Downey and later to Chubbuck, where she has resided with her son, Terry. Donna is survived by 2 sons: Terry J. Hansen of Chubbuck and Jim Hansen of Pocatello. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Chet; a son, Jack; sisters; Nola Capell and Wilma Dilworth; brother and sister in law; Norman and Maxine Myers. Funeral services will be held on Monday August 13, 2012 at 12 noon in Horsley’s Marsh Valley Funeral Home 570 N. Meadowview Dr. in Arimo.(254-3786), where friends may visit with the family on Sunday evening from 6-7 pm and on monday prior to the service from 10:30-11:45 am. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Twin Falls.
