PRESTON, Ida.- Donna Elizabeth Parry Austin, 68, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, Feb. 4, 2000 in Preston, Idaho.
She was born Dec. 17, 1931 in Malad, Idaho to Wilford Evans and Mary Hughes Parry. She married Merlin “Swede” Austin on Jan. 22, 1951 in Elko, Nevada.
She enjoyed music and dancing. She also played the piano and enjoyed playing with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Merlin “Swede,” of Preston; a son, Neil Austin, Preston; three daughters, Vicky (Garry) Kaae, Benson, Utah, Bonnie Austin, Preston, and Mary (Joe) Carriedo, Fairview, Idaho; five grandchildren; a brother, Gary Parry, Malad, Idaho; and by a sister, Jean Olsen, Malad, Idaho. She was preceded in death by her parents, by two brothers, Dean and Boyd Parry, by a sister, Mary Valene Parry, and by her youngest son, John Bret Austin.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Monday, Feb. 7, 2000 in the Preston South Stake Center, 55 E. First South, with Bishop Robert Miller conducting. Friends may call Sunday, Feb. 6 at Webb Funeral Home, Preston, and Monday from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the stake center. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery
