DOWNEY – Donald Wayne Carlton, 24, of Downey, passed away November 15, 2002 at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT during surgery.

He was born November 8, 1978 in Gilroy, CA. he spent his early years in Gilroy and then moved to Modesto, CA where he graduated from Beyer High School in 1997. He enjoyed classic rock music. He liked to read phone books and encyclopedias. He also enjoyed his small pets.

Survivors include his mother, Sherry Talas, Downey, ID; his father, Carl Talas, and brother, Steven Talas, both of Gilroy, CA; grandparents, Ronald and Denee Geer, Tucson, AZ; Cornelio and Virginia Soza, Merced, CA; John and May Dean Talas, Phoenix, AZ; great grandfather, George Glenn, Norco, CA and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held November 21, 2002 at the Virginia LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Lynn Buck officiating. Interment will be in the Norton Cemetery at McCammon.
