Don S. Anderson dies at Washington

Private memorial services were held for Don S. Anderson, 59, who passed away November 23, 1981, in Port Angeles, Washington. He was born April 18, 1922 in Malad City to George L. and Elizabeth Shelton Anderson. After graduating from High School in Malad in 1940, he joined the Army and served during World War II in the South Pacific. Upon discharge from the Army in 1945, he joined his parents in Tule Lake, California where he married Donna Bugbee in 1946.

He worked as a driver-salesman in Pasco and Kennewick, Washington, until 1975 when he retired because of illness. He moved to Sequim, Washington in 1978. He is survived by his wife, Donna, sons Eric and Christopher; brother Cleve and sister Cleo Donnelly, and two grandchildren. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Sequim Ward, and was active in the Sequim Chapter of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Harper-Ridgeview Funeral Chapel, Port Angeles, was in charge of arrangements. Cremation was under the direction of Mt. Angeles Memorial park. A memorial in his name has been established in care of the Critical Care Unit, Olympic Memorial Hospital, Port Angeles, Washington.
