Dolores Kent Bloxham, 88 years old, born to Brigham Oren and Ethel Rose Kent on February 8, 1929, in Malad, Idaho, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, on Friday, November 3rd. She had been residing at Quail Ridge since April 13, 2016. After she graduated Malad High School, she went to work at the Malad Light Office and worked there until she and Vern C. Bloxham were married on May 14, 1948. They made their home in Downey, Idaho, later owning Bloxham Oil. Dolores, better known as “Bunny”, an endearing nickname her father gave her when she was 18 months old, and Vern “Curly” raised their four children, Jan Burkett, Craig V. Bloxham, Jill Bloxham and Juli Bloxham. They were married for 68 years in May, 2016. She was a loving wife and mother to her family and loved by all who knew her. Dolores “Bunny” was very involved in the LDS Church, holding various positions. Her husband and children were her first priority, but her first love was music. She sang in the Madrigal Choir for over 50 years and also sang in the Singing Mothers in Downey. She was also very active in the American Legion Auxiliary. She and Vern organized and coordinated the Veterans Memorial in Downey for all those local men who fought in the wars to keep our country free. She was also a beautiful seamstress. Vern and Bun had their marriage solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple in May, 1992, then also served a church mission in Monahans, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband Vern, her parents, Oren and Ethel, her three sisters, and her inlaws, Cluff and Lila Bloxham. She leaves behind her devoted children, Jan, Craig, Jill and Juli; grandchildren: Alaine (Greg) Moulos, Audra (Kellly) Black, Angela (Keith) Sherman, Amy (Flagen) Elshani, Challis Bloxham and Cameo Bloxham; great grandchildren: Nicholas, Jacob and Natalie Moulos; Amy, Brad, Tyler and Nicole Black; Brittany, Blaine, and Brock Sherman; Greyson Black, and C.
