Dennis Lee Danzer, 50, of Virginia, ID, passed away Friday, November 23, 2018. He was born on February 23, 1968, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. After having been raised in Southern California, Dennis moved to Marsh Valley a decade ago saying that he felt at home with the area and the people. With a passion for the outdoors, he enjoyed all that southeast Idaho has to offer. His mother, Shari, having also fallen in love with the area, followed him up to Marsh Valley and she lived with Dennis until her passing four years ago. In addition to his passion for the outdoors, Dennis loved football and his beloved Falcons as anyone who knew him could attest.

Dennis cherished his family and lifelong friends. He was the fun-loving uncle to his nephew and two nieces and he was extremely happy in his final months starting a new family with his girlfriend Brittnie and her daughter Brooklyn. Dennis valued his friendships in the area from his neighbors to his friends in Downey and at Downata Hot Springs. He is survived by his brothers Ken Danzer of Oceanside, CA and Jerry Danzer of San Diego, CA along with his nieces and nephew. He will join his mother at the Cambridge Cemetery in Downey.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Horsley Marsh Valley Funeral Home, 570 N Meadowview Dr. in Arimo. Friends may visit with the family for one hour prior to the service. Friends are invited to a reception following the service.
