David Leon Unsworth

David Leon Unsworth, 79, of Malad, died Monday in the Oneida County Hospital.

He was born June 6, 1911, in Hyrum, Utah, a son of Joseph and Josephine Crookston Unsworth. He grew up and attended school in Malad and had attended Malad High School.

He had farmed and ranched all his life in Pocatello Valley near Malad. He was an excellent mechanic and had worked several years for Jones Implement and had done repair work for many farmers in the area.

He was a member of the LDS Church. He had enjoyed his farm, fishing and hunting.

Mr. Unsworth had never married.

He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Reuel (Edna) Jones, Provo, and Mrs. Harold (Helen Kern) Bryner, Salt Lake City.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at noon in the Benson-Horsley Funeral Home in Malad, Bishop Brent Evanson officiating. Burial was in the Hyrum City Cemetery.
