David L. Edwards, 73, died at his home in Malad on October 7, 1942 following a paralytic stroke. He was born at Willard, Utah, September 9, 1869, the son of John L. and Margaret Edwards. He came to Malad valley in 1863, and has resided here since.

Mr. Edwards married Matilda Monson, May 15, 1889 at Malad City.

He is survived by his widow, three sons, D.M. Edwards and Alfred V. Edwards of Malad; Chet Edwards of Downey, ID; four daughters, Mrs. L.L. Jones, Malad; Mrs. Victor Thomas, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Richad Hall, Glendale, CA; Mrs. Clem Hatch, Glendale, CA; one brother, Bill Edwards, Willard, UT; one sister, Mrs. John Van Sickle, Ashton, ID.

Funeral services will be held in the stake tabernacle Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
