WEST JORDAN- David Elwood Bright, age 49, died on May 3, 1996 from heart failure in a local hospital.

Born on August 24, 1946 in Malad, Idaho to Rulon E. and Mary W. Bright. Married Mary Susan Hertig on May 23, 1975 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Graduated with a Bachelors Degree from the University of Utah. Served an LDS Mission to the Central States. Employed by the LDS Church.

Survivors: wife; mother; four children; Ashely Elizabeth, Alicia Michelle (Benjamin) Jacob, Christopher Ryan and Larissa Suzanne; brothers and sisters John T. (Susan) Bright, Kaysville, Utah; R. Joel (Diana) Bright, Riverton, Utah; Carolyn (Richard) Luckau, Idaho Falls, Idaho. Preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday May 7, 1996 in the West Jordan Oquirrh Stake Center, 5208 West Cyclamen Way (6300 South). Friends may call at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and at the Stake Center on Tuesday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services.

Interment, Bountiful City Cemetery.
