David D. Morgan

ARIMO – David D. Morgan, 82, our beloved father, father-in-law, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 1994, in Salt Lake City, Utah at the home of his daughter.

He was born March 8, 1912, in Malad, a son of David W. and Leah Davis Morgan. He married Amy Katherine Bloxham Feb. 25, 1942, in Pocatello, and they had resided in Arimo. After they were married he had served in the armed forces during World War II. Mrs. Morgan died Feb. 15, 1989.

Mr. Morgan had worked for Union Pacific Railroad for over 30 years. Before his illness he had enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and sports.

He is survived by one son and one daughter and their spouses, Michael “Mickey” and Linda Morgan of Arimo, and Patricia “Pat” and Denny Julander of Salt Lake City, Utah.; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Joseph Morgan of Malad, and Orville Morgan of Navato, Calif.; and one sister, Viora Morgan of Malad. He was preceded in death by his wife, Amy, one son, Ralph, and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 21, at 11 a.m. in the Marsh Valley Funeral Home, Meadowview Drive, Arimo. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, May 20, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Arimo Cemetery.
