Daryl Edward Gardner

Daryl Edward Gardner was called back to his Heavenly Father the morning of Friday January 11, 2013. He was born August 31, 1967 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was the second child of Dale and Janice Gardner. He met and married the love of his life on September 20, 2003 to Diana Davis Gardner. Daryl, Diana and their two children were sealed as an eternal family in the Salt lake LDS Temple on October 1, 2010. Daryl was such an amazing person that it is difficult to sum up his life in just a few words. He was a very wonderful attentive father and husband. He was very selfless and devoted to his family and would do anything for them. Spending countless hours playing with his children and making sure they knew how much he loved them. Taking them fishing, to parks and making up scavenger hunts for them.

Daryl had a great love for the outdoors. He would be out camping and fishing any spare time he could find. He loved the snow and ice fishing, trudging through knee high snow for a mile just to drill a hole and fish for a few hours.

He had such a light about him and tremendous smile that everyone he met remembered him and wanted to be associated with him. Daryl had a genuine love for others and go out of his way to help others to make sure they had their needs met.

He really enjoyed his newest church calling and loved teaching his class of 12/13 year olds who made a great impression on him and his testimony. He had a great love for his ward, feeling like they were an extension of his family, enjoying learning about each of them and very greatfull for all they have done for him.

He is survived by his wife Diana; children, Elizabeth (6), and Daniel (4). His Parents Dale and Janice Gardner, a brother Gregory and Hiromi Gardner, and two nephew’s Christopher and Cody Gardner; an aunt, Janet Coulter. Many aunts, uncles and cousins.
