Dale Vaughan, 83, 604 N 100 W, Malad, died early Friday at his home.

He was born September 10, 1904, in Malad to Thomas Edwin and Emily Ann John Vaughan. He was reared and educated in Malad, graduating from Malad High School.

He graduated from the Hemphill Diesel Engineering School in Los Angeles in 1935.

He married Sarabelle Hughes on April 29, 1927, in Ogden, Utah. She died November 11, 1982.

He was a rancher in Malad and for many years raised turkeys and operated the Vaughan Feed Mill.

He is survived by one son, Mark Don Vaughan, Dublin, California; five grandchildren; one brother, Vance Vaughan, Honolulu, Hawaii; and one sister, Helen Morgan, Malad. He was preceded in death by one son, and 11 brothers and sisters.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 22, at the Benson-Horsley Funeral Home in Malad. Burial was in the Malad City Cemetery
