Dale Max Schwartz

Malad…Dale Max Schwartz, 74, loving father, husband, grandfather, and brother returned to the arms of his heavenly father on October 9, 2015. Dale was born May 9, 1941 on Mother’s Day to William and Olga (Serum) Schwartz.

Dale grew up working beside his father and brothers on the family farm. After graduating high school Dale attended Idaho State University majoring in Pharmacy and Accounting. The big city was just not for him. The small town life and the pull of the farm called him to return to what he loved. He bought the family farm and continued to set a fine example as his father before him. He was one of the best farmers in the Daniels area. Dale was proud and loved to have his Dad and two sons at his side, as they grew up farming with him. He always did the best, honest and courageous job taking pride in everything he accomplished. Dale was forced to retire early for health reasons.

A beautiful yard with lots of trees, grass and roses is where you would find him during retirement. Dale was member of the LDS Church and served as a Ward Clerk.

Dale married his sweetheart Marsha Evans in 1964. They had two sons Shannon and Jeff. He was proud of his wife, two sons, daughter-in-law and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Marsha, sons Shannon (Heidi) Schwartz of Woods Cross, Utah, Jeff L. Schwartz of Pocatello, Idaho, his Grandchildren Shandi Joy Schwartz and Wyatt Russell Schwartz of Woods Cross, Utah and one sister Donna Bloxham of Idaho Falls, Idaho. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Melvin and Ivan Schwartz, and one sister Hilda John. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 15 at 12 noon in the Horsley Funeral Home, 132 W. 300 N Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 10:30-11:45 a.m. prior to the service.
