Dale loved farming and bought his Dad’s dairy of 50 cows and 150 acres. He built up his diary and now milks 500 cows. He has added good employees and acreage to raise feed for his dairy cows. He also raised potatoes for 10 years. It wasn’t always successful so he continued with his dairy business and was a successful farmer. Dale also enjoyed snowmobiling, especially in Island Park and Yellowstone. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his grandkids on the farm. They all loved to ride in the combine or on the tractor with him, or just go for a ride in his truck or stopping with grandpa to get lunch.
