Dale Adams Evans

Dale Adams Evans, 74, of Malad, Idaho died December 16, 1985 in Pocatello, Idaho. He was born May 18, 1911 in Malad, Idaho, the son of William J. and Eliza Adams Evans.

He was reared and educated in Malad, Idaho. He married Arvilla Irene Clegg December 5, 1931 in Downey, Idaho. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple.

He was a lifetime resident of Malad where he was employed by the LDS Church for several years and he worked at the Oneida County Courthouse. He was also a school bus driver for many years. He is a member of the LDS Church where he is a high priest.

He was a chartered member of the Malad Valley Posse and an avid horseman and outdoorsman.

He is survived by three sons and three daughters, Dale William Evans of Pocatello, ID; Kim C. Evans and Mark C. Evans, both of Malad, Idaho; Mrs. Jean Renee Schlehuber of Bountiful, UT; Mrs. Bill (Arvilla Marie) Neal of Malad, Idaho and Danielle Jeppsen of Fallon, NV; 20 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. One brother, Lynn A. Evans of Pocatello, ID and two sisters, Mrs. Lavena Bowles of Pocatello, ID and Mrs. Mary Lewis of Downey, ID.

Funeral services will be held December 19 at the LDS Stake Chapel with Bishop Marvin Hess officiating. Interment will be in the Malad City Cemetery.
