Curtis Cornwall Anderson

Curtis Cornwall Anderson loving husband, dad, grandfather, and great grandfather passed away surrounded by his family on February 8, 2019. Curtis was born April 18, 1943 in Tremonton Utah and is the son of Virgil L. and Virginia Cornwall Anderson.

He served an honorable mission in the Northeast British Mission from 1961 to 1963. Shortly after serving his mission he married his sweetheart, Carol Rhodes on November 6, 1964 in the Logan LDS Temple. Together they built their life and welcomed 7 wonderful children. Nels (Mary) Anderson Holbrook ID, Lisa (Mark) Boyd Alpine UT, Cara (Dennie) Moore Thatcher UT, Crista (Shane) Francis Tremonton UT, Leslie (Ladd) Hudson Lindon UT, Nolan (Terri) Anderson Deweyville UT, and Hollie Anderson (Deceased).

At a very early age Curtis learned to work hard and developed a love for tilling the soil. He enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting, along with Sunday rides, always making sure to stop for a pop and a treat. He was an active Gospel Scholar and enjoyed a lively debate about doctrinal principles. It always did his heart good to be surrounded by his family. His grandchildren will thoroughly miss sharing a piece of pink double bubble bubble gum with their Grandpa.

He was welcomed home with open arms by his daughter Hollie, 2 grandsons, his parents, as well as other family members. He is survived by his 6 children, 19 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held Monday February 11 from 6-8pm at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home (111 N. 100 E.- Tremonton). Funeral services will be held Tuesday February 12 at 12pm at the Bothwell LDS Church (10350 W. 11600 N.- Bothwell) with a viewing prior to the funeral service from 10:30-11:30am.

Interment will follow at the Bothwell Valley View Cemetery.
