Cliss Nadine Harding Cox

Cliss Nadine Harding Cox passed away on June 6, 2004 at her home in Wilsonville, Oregon. She and her husband were longtime residents of Provo, Utah. She was born in Malad City, Idaho on July 15, 1932 to Kathryn Olson and Ralph W. Harding.

She is survived by her loving and dedicated husband, Gaylen J. Cox, her daughters Catherine Jean Crittenden (Gary), Carolyn Nuttall (Reid) and Calene Saltmarsh (Ron). She was the proud grandmother to 12 grandchildren and one and one-half great-grandchildren. Her loving siblings are Ralph R. Harding, Joyce L. Friedenberger, Alice K. Miller, Don L. Harding, G. Robert Harding and Thomas H. Harding.

She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She and her husband served a mission to London, England. She worked for many years as a secretary and admin. asst. at various companies. Her greatest loves were her family, flowers, good books, missionaries and BYU football.

We are grateful for all those who have loved her over the years. The pains of Alzheimer’s were becoming so evident, but she never lost her sense of humor, her great love for Gaylen and her family.

We are so sad to see her go, but grateful for the many gifts she leaves behind. She leaves a legacy of service, missionary work, friendship and testimony. Thanks Mom for all the wonderful life lessons.

Funeral services will be held on Jun 11th at the Edgewood Chapel, Provo, UT. Interment will be at the Malad City, Cemetery, Malad, Idaho.
