Clifford Hoskins

Clifford Hoskins, age 80, Portage, died Tuesday, January 28, 1986 at the Weber Memorial Care Center of congestive heart failure.
He was born September 29, 1905 at Portage, Utah, the son of Theodore Albert and Iva Lee Wells Hoskins.
He married La Verne Taylor, July 10, 1929 at Blackfoot, Idaho. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on October 18, 1972.
He was born a member of the Portage LDS Ward. He worked as a farmer in West Warren and Aberdeen, Idaho. He also worked at the O.U.R. and D. Railroad and as an airplane assembler at Hill Field Air Force Base for 20 years. He retired in May of 1971.
Survivors include his wife of Portage, three sons and one daughter Clifford DeWayne Hoskins, Roy, Utah; Jerry Howard Hoskins, West Point; Jack A. Hoskins, Ogden, Utah and Mrs. Iva LaRue Nickols, American Falls, Idaho, and 16 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the Portage Ward Chapel.
Interment was at the Portage Cemetery.
