Cleone Clegg Hobson was born April 1, 1936 in McCammon, Idaho to Myron and Nancy Howell Clegg. At a young age the Cleone family moved to Portage, Utah where she grew up and attended school. She met Robert Bob Hobson at a church social and they later married in December 1951 and moved to Malad, Idaho where they resided. To this marriage were born 7 children. Cleone was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Cleone was preceded in death by her mother and father; husband Bob, son Lee, and great granddaughter Serenity.
She is survived by her brothers and sisters, Ann (Douglas) Arizona, Ron Clegg of Utah, Myron (Pat) Clegg of Utah, Arba (Vernal) Burgess of Utah, Nancy (Gary) Housekeeper of Utah, Susan (Linda) Neely of Arizona; children Bob (Judy) Hobson of Malad, Dale Hobson of Malad, Deb (Henry) Egbert of Preston, Sharon (Laurel) Thomas of Idaho Falls, Bonita McDowell of Preston, Michele (John) Berry of Kingman, Arizona; 20 grandchildren and 50 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held April 7 at noon in the 2nd/4th/5th ward building, 20 South 100 West. A viewing will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 at the Horsley Funeral Home, 132 W. 300 N., from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday, April 7 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. prior to the services. Burial will follow in the Malad City Cemeter
