Claude Clifford Allen

Claude Clifford Allen, 80, died Sunday (16 Mar 1980) at the Caribou Memorial Nursing home in Soda Springs after a short illness.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 19, 19890 at the Benson-Horsley Funeral Home.

He was born July 28, 1899, at McCammon to George David and Louisa Brower Allen. He grew up and attended school in McCammon and Pocatello. For a short time after graduation, he worked for McCam Funeral Home in Pocatello. He married Helen Harrison on Oct. 10, 1935, at Ogden, Utah. He worked in custom meat cutting and processing most of his life and had owned processing businesses in Malad and Tremonton. He worked in Twin Falls at the sugar plant for nine years until his retirement.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was also a Mason.

He is survived by his wife, Caribou Memorial Nursing Home, Soda Springs; and two brothers, Jack Allen Hagerman, and Gail Allen Santa Maria, California.

Burial was in the Malad City Cemetery.
