Clarence Albert Anderson

Malad- Clarence Albert Anderson, 85, of Malad, died Tuesday, March 3,1992, in the Oneida County Hospital.

He was born March 21, 1906, in Central, Idaho, son of Anna Sophia Anderson and John Albert Anderson. He had worked as a farmer and mechanic and had later been employed as Bannock County deputy sheriff, and been a Malad city policeman until his retirement.
He married Carrie D. Richards May 20, 1930 in Pocatello. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan, Utah, LDS Temple. Mrs. Anderson died Dec. 24, 1987.
He survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Clarence R. and Mariko Anderson, Pocatello; one daughter, Mrs. Martin (Sally) Anderson Moore, Roy, Utah; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, one son, Fred, and one granddaughter.
Funeral service will be held Saturday at noon in the St. John LDS Ward Chapel, with Bishop Rex Daniels officiating. Friends may call at the Benson-Horsley Funeral Home in Malad on Friday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., and on Saturday one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Malad City Cemetery.
