Chester Blaine Burnett

Chester Blaine Burnett, 84, of Malad, passed away Wednesday, September 23, 1998 in the Oneida County Hospital.

He was born July 2, 1914 in Plymouth, Utah, a son of Joseph and Edith Silvester Burnett. He was raised and educated in Holbrook, Idaho. He married Blanch Hughes on August 27, 1936, in Holbrook and their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. For most of his life he owned and operated the Burnett Trucking Company.

He is survived by his loving wife, Blanch, of Malad; three sons; Terry (Sally) Burnett of Eden, Idaho; Tim (Karen) Burnett of Braigham City, Utah; Randy (Karen) Burnett of Ogden, Utah; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; 2 brothers; Jim Burnett of St. George, Utah and Carl Burnett of Logan, Utah; a half sister; Joan Brady of Pingree, Idaho. Funeral services were held Monday, September 28, 1998 at the Benson-Horsley Funeral Home in Malad. Burial was in the Samaria, Idaho Cemetery.
