Cherie Lee Weeks

Cherie Lee Weeks, 21, of Malad, died Friday, May 12, from injuries sustained in an auto accident.
She was born December 11, 1967 in Malad to Grant and Bernice Briggs Weeks. She was raised and educated in Malad and graduated from Malad High School.
She later graduated from Idaho State University in cosmetology. She had since been employed as a hairdresser in Malad at Alice’s Beauty Shop.
She was a member of the LDS Church. She was an avid rodeo participant and enjoyed horses.
She enjoyed helping youth get started in the rodeo and was active in assisting the Idaho Junior Rodeo Association. She was also a 4-H participant for many years, with all types of livestock projects.
She is survived by her parents; one brother, William “Bill” Grant Weeks two sisters, Anne Marie Weeks and Leila Kay Weeks, all of Malad; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Briggs Malad; and Mr. and Mrs. Leland Weeks, Preston.
Funeral services were Tuesday in the Malad LDS Stake Chapel with Bishop Jerry Bush officiating. Burial was in the Malad City Cemetery
