Charlotte Ann Hansen

MALAD – Charlotte Ann Hansen, 92, 450 N. Main, died Friday morning in Ogden, Utah.
She was born December 28, 1894 in Malad, to Thomas Jones and Charlotte Ann Adams Evans. She was reared and educated in Malad. As a young girl she worked at the Evans Co-op and at Dick Davis Confectionary.
She married Joseph W. Reynolds January 6, 1915 in Malad. He died August 27, 1915.
She married Heber Willard Hansen April 15, 1920 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died May 22, 1965.
They farmed in Pocatello Valley and owned and operated a mercantile in Gwenford.
She was a member of the LDS Church where she served as a visiting teacher for many years.
She enjoyed cooking.
She is survived by three sons, Joseph W. Reynolds, Ogden, Utah; Grant Hansen, Bountiful, Utah; La Ray Hansen, and one daughter, Mrs. Eugene (Helen) Thorpe, both of Ogden; two sisters, Mrs. Ray (Fern) Hogge and Mrs. Margaret “Maggie” Reynolds both of Ogden; 20 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son and one daughter.
Funeral services were held Monday at 1 p.m. in the Malad Third Ward Chapel with Bishop Marvin Hess officiating. Burial was in the Malad City Cemetery.
