Graveside rites Wednesday for Mrs. Caroline T. Williams
Graveside rites were conducted at Malad City Cemetery Wednesday, February 12, for Mrs. Caroline Thomas Williams, age 61, who died Sunday at Bannock Memorial Hospital, Pocatello. Funeral services were held in Pocatello earlier that day at LDS Fourth Ward Chapel.
Mrs. Williams was born in Malad Aug. 23, 1907, a daughter of Wallace and Caroline Jones Thomas. She was married to John Williams April 21, 1925 and the marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple June 17, 1938.
Mrs. Williams lived in Malad until 1925 when she moved to Pocatello, was a member of the Fourth Ward Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had been president of YWMIA and was junior Sunday school coordinator prior to her retirement due to ill health. She enjoyed sewing, handiwork, oil painting and travel.
Surviving are her husband; a son, Jack B., Seattle; three daughters, Mrs. Donald (Etna Faye) Kinderman, San Rafael, Calif.; Mrs. Larry (Carolie) Tate, Montebello, Calif.; Mrs. James (Roberta) Marr, Pocatello; 13 grandchildren; two brothers, Milton, Pocatello, and John, Lewiston; two sisters, Mrs. James (Rhoda) Guymon, Pocatello; and Mrs. Kelly (Rula) Marks, Modesto, Calif.
