Carol Catherine Vanderwood Dodson passed away September 29, 1993, in Los Angeles, California. She was born June 11, 1911, in Malad, ID to Evan and Annie Thomas Vanderwood. She married Earl H. Dodson on December 12, 1939. He was passed away May 1, 1977.

She attended school in Malad and graduated in 1930 from Malad High School.
She attended beauty school and became a hairdresser. She then moved to California where she worked until retirement.

She is survived by two nieces, Jean Erskine, Malad, Cheryl Madson, Ogden; and seven nephews, John Vanderwood, Pocatello; Alvin, Bill and David Vanderwood of Salt Lake City, Utah; Brent Vanderwood of El Toro, California; Craig Ericcson of California; and sister-in-lw, Donna Vanderwood of Malad, ID.

Graveside services were held at Forest Lawn in Glendale, California, o October 5, 1993.
