Calvin Wayd Criddle

Calvin Wayd Criddle, 29, Pocatello, died Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at home from an apparent heart attack.
Wayd was born May 11, 1980, in Pocatello to Steven Jay and Joni Janeal Wilson Criddle. He graduated from Highland High School, class of 1998. In November of 2000, he welcomed the light of his life, daughter Bella Kayt. He always said she was the best thing he ever made.
He married his best friend and companion, Shawna Marie Kingston, July 22, 2005, in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho, she was everything to him.
Wayd enjoyed everything life had to offer, especially his motorcycle. We will miss hearing him zoom by. When he wasn’t out riding his motorcycle, he was soaking up every minute he had with his sweet daughter, Bella, and wife, Shawna. Wayd took great pride in his garden, a hobby given to him by his grandparents, the late Calvin and Margene Criddle, to whom he was especially close.
Wayd knew how to put a smile on everyone’s face. He was the first in line to lend a hand. Personable and genuine, he spoke from the heart. He had the ability to be in the moment with whoever he was with, crying or laughing. He will be missed by all those who were privileged to have had him touch their lives.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Wayd is survived by his wife, Shawna, a daughter, Isabella Kayt, his father, Steven (Keedrin) Criddle of Downey, Idaho; his mother, J.J. (Jack) Driever of Grady, N.M.; grandmother, Ina Sickinger of Boise; grandfathers, Ken (Marilyn) Wilson of Boise, Idaho, and Joe Frank (Lyle) Swensen of Grace, Idaho; three brothers, Jack W. Driever, Chayd Criddle and Tayson Criddle, and four sisters: Bailey Criddle, Nika Criddle, Janette (Jason) Butler, and Jennifer (Eric) Jeffs. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Calvin and Margene Criddle; Gordon Bloxham and Lois Hanson.
