Brett J. Landon, 42 passed away at his home in Cheyenne, Wyoming on August 11, 2012.

He was born on September 30, 1969 to Wendell and Brenda Hyde Landon in Downey, Idaho. He was raised in Downey until the family moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming in 1985. He graduated from East High School in 1987. On July 26, 1997 he married Stacy Saur and to this union were two children, Daniel Saur, and a daughter Taylor Renae Landon, whom he loved with all his heart.

Brett started working for the Union Pacific Railroad in 2004 and worked there until his health started to fail.

He was a wonderful son, brother, grandson, husband, father, uncle, and nephew. He had many friends, two very close ones since school- Ray Neal and Corey Samson. He brought joy and laughter to those around him. He especially loved his nephews and nieces and hanging out with them, and they loved him in return. Brett was a dedicated Raiders Fan! He even named his dog Raider.

He is survived by his wife Stacy Landon, two children, Daniel Saur and Taylor Renae Landon, his mother, Brenda Landon (Doug Rose- who loved him as if he was his own son), three sisters, Stephanie Miller(Gary), Alyssa Harris(Raymond), all of Cheyenne, and Teresa Landon of Kansas City, MO,and Joy Hyde, grandmother.

He was preceded in death by his father Wendell J. Landon, grandparents Russell Hyde, Ivan and Mary Alice Landon.
