Billy Ardell Conley

MALAD- Billy Ardell Conley, 62, of Malad, passed away at his home on Tuesday, April 23, 1996.

He was born February 2, 1934 in Ogden, Utah, son of Joseph Gilbert and Maude Areta Findlay Conley.

He was reared and educated in Ogden and had attended Ogden High School.

He served in the U.S. Army, and was stationed in Germany.

On August 5, 1974 he was married to Beverly Louise Reumelhart.

After living a short time in Ogden, they moved to Malad, where they had since resided.

He worked for several years at the Hill Field Air Force Base in Ogden.

He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and also playing table games.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly, of Malad; six sons and their spouses, Jeffrey Ardell, of Ogden, Utah, Toby Lyn, of Ogden, Tony Ray and Jennie Hansen, of Salina, Kansas, John Louis and Linda Hansen, of Ogden, Jimmy William and Mary Hansen of Ogden, Dean Clark and Layna Hansen, of Logan, Utah; five daughter and spouses, Lauri Le and Eric Dunning of Evanston, Wyoming, Terri Jo and Joe Ptacek of Ogden, Utah, Kathy Louise and Platt Clark, of Logan, Utah, Kristina Kay Williams of Evanston, Wyoming, Josy Anne May Conley of Malad; 22 grandchildren; one brother, Blaine Lamar and Janet Conley, of Ogden, Utah.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 27, at 11 a.m. in the Benson-Horsley Funeral Home, 132 W. 300 N., Malad.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, April 26, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Burial will be in the Malad City Cemetery, with military rites accorded by the Malad American Legion, Ernest W. Jones Post No. 65.
