Malad…..Billie Ray Conaway, 50, of Malad and brother of local resident, Sheila Wakley, passed away on March 16, 2009 at his home of sudden heart failure.

‘Big Bill’ or ‘Tiny’ to some
Our loving son, brother and uncle passed away March 16, 2009 due to heart failure, at the age of 50.
Bill was born June 3, 1958 in Danbury, N.C. to Howard and Naomi (Tracy) Forward. He was raised in Brigham City, Utah where he also went to school at Box Elder High.
He worked several jobs in his short life, his favorite was the cable company. When he was unable to work because of medical conditions he just puttered around here and there.
Bill moved to Malad, Idaho several years ago, where he met a lot of good people, and had several good friends (Mr. Keystone being his favorite). He considered Malad his home.
Bill enjoyed all sports, especially bowling, and soft ball. He loved to read. He collected classic things such as books, videos and old records.
Surviving are his dad, Howard Forward, Garland, Utah; two brothers, Bobbie Conaway, Brigham, Utah and Ronnie (Sandra) Conaway, North Carolina; three sisters, Sheila (Mark) Wakley, Tremonton, Utah; Tammy (Rich) Wigginton, Garland, Utah, and Sheila (Jimmy) Money, North Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his mother, M. Naomi Tracy; all of his grandparents, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A one hour viewing will be held Thursday, March 26, 2009 at 12:00 (noon) in Malad, 132 West 300 North, followed by a graveside service at the Malad City Cemetery.
