Bernice Ewer Frederick

Malad – Bernice Frederick 89, of Malad City, Idaho passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2013, in her retirement home at Logan, Utah.
Bernice was born on February 12, 1924, in Logan Utah, she was the youngest daughter of Frank and Amy Williams Ewer. She married Quentin Frederick on September 9th, 1941 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Bernice was an active member of the LDS church and 43 year resident of Malad, 17 years in Tremonton, and 6 years in Ogden Utah..
Mrs. Frederick was known as an immaculate housekeeper and dedicated housewife. She enjoyed working with the youth church programs in various Primary and Mutual positions and later in the Relief Society. She loved to sew and spent many hours making various arts and crafts.
Bernice was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Amy Ewer, brothers Orval and Floyd Ewer, and sister Blanche Ewer Pitcher, husband Quentin Frederick, sons Cornell Frederick and Glade Fredericks. She is survived by sons Quentin Kay Frederick, Craig Frederick; daughters-in-law, Marianne Newman Frederick, Susan Brook Frederick, Kriss Alcorn Frederick, Carol Love Frederick; 11 grandchildren and one very special family member, friend, and neighbor, Edna King.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. in the Malad LDS 3rd Ward Chapel, 200 W. 400 N. Friends may visit with the family at the Horsley Funeral Home, 132 W. 300 N. from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the funeral. Burial will follow in the Providence City Cemetery.
