Benjamin Franklin Hill

BLACKFOOT- Benjamin Franklin Hill 70, died of cancer Friday at the Bingham County Nursing Home.
He was born April 16, 1915, in Malad, the son of Edward N. and Annie Evans Hill.
He married Zilpha Barker March 29 1946 in Ogden, Utah, Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple
They moved to the Rose area in 1964 he was a pipe fitter, welder, and worked at construction
He enjoyed flying and owned his own plane.
He was a member of the LDS Church and served in the Elder’s Quorum presidency and as a home teacher.
He is survived by his wife, of Blackfoot; three sons, Weldon B. Hill Blackfoot; Cannon E. Hill. San Marcos, Calif • B. Dennis Hill, Claresholn, Alberta, Canada; three daughters, Mrs. Carl (Joyce) Mattson. Firth; Mrs. Rocky (Jessie Lou) Messiek and Mrs. John (Anna) Little both of Idaho Falls, two sisters, Mrs Willard (Edith) Archibald, Pocatello and Mrs. William (Katy) Clark, Blackfoot; and 20 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p-m. Tuesday at the Rose-Firth LDS Church by Bishop Arvid Jensen. The family will meet with friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m., at the Hill-Sandburg funeral Home and Tuesday at the church from noon until time of services Burial will be in the Grove City Cemetery Blackfoot
