Bartley “Bart” Williams
Malad….Bartley Edwin Williams, 68, passed away April 30, 2009. He was born April 29, 1941, Malad, Idaho, son of Farrel and Mary Emma Williams Williams. He was a graduate of Malad high School, class of 1959. Bart married Pamela Keller Burrup May 6, 1959. they had five children. Pam passed away July 19, 1994. He married Carol Hansen on August 4, 1996. Bart was owner of Bart Williams Construction, and worked in several states, retiring in 1994. He enjoyed his work and teaching his son and several nephews the trade. He has spent the last few years in Malad, where he enjoyed spending time with his brothers. There were many great cookouts held in Bart and Carol’s back yard. Bart leaves behind a loving family and many great memories. He will be missed by all. He was a member of the LDS Church. He is survived by his wife Carol; 4 daughters; Robyn (William) Brewer, Kristy (Kenneth) Lamb, Vicky (Lyn) Hall, Wendy (Russell) Smith; 1 son; Biff (Jan) Williams. 2 step children; Lisa (Paul) Ruff and Larry (Melissa) Hansen; 2 brothers; Farrel Dale (Eileen) Williams; Michael Arthur (Jean) Williams. 4 sisters; Marylyn (Rees) Roundy, Rosalee ( (Jim) Buffington, Julie (LaMonte) Waldron and Jeanetta Flint. 24 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday May 4, 2009 at 12 noon in the Portage, Utah LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may visit with the williams family this evening May 3, from 6-8 pm at the Horsley Funeral Home, and on Monday prior to services from 10:30-11:30 am, Burial will follow in the St. John Cemetery.
