DOWNEY — Bart Clayton Jones, 15, son of Max and Diane Jones, passed away on Thursday, January 25,2001, in Preston.
He was born May 1, 1985, in Twin Falls, a son of Joseph Max and Margaret Wamsley Jones. Bart had suffered an undiagnosed genetic disease his entire life. He was an angel to all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his parents of Downey; brothers and sisters, Julie (Deren) Chandler of Springfield, Idaho; Brent (Suzanne) Jones of Oakley; Becky (Darren) Warth of Twin Falls; Joe (Erica) Jones of Downey; Janet (Terry) Michaelson of Pocatello; Boyd Jones of Downey; Brent (Kon) Scott of Salt Lake City; Micah (Trisha) Scott of Salt Lake City; Crystal B. Scott, Jessica V. Scott, Janelle L. Jones and Jared G. Jones, all of Downey.
Surviving also are grandparents, Clayton and Patsy Wamsley of Randolph, Utah; Gerene Jones of Elmo, Utah; Graham and Mary Lou Doxey of Salt Lake City.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret; brothers, Bryson J. Jones and Christian Scott; and grandfather, Rollan Jones.
Local services will be held on Monday evening at 5 p.m. in the Downey LDS Ward Chapel, where friends may call from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2001, at 1 p.mr in the Oakley, Idaho, LDS Stake Chapel. Friends may call at the Oakley church from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Burial will be at the Marion Cemetery in Oakley. Arrangements are by Horsley’s Marsh Valley Funeral Home, Arimo.
