Barbara Louise Babbitt Broberg, 58, passed away June 12, 2008 in Billings, Montana, after a 15 year battle with Lupus. Barbara was born November 7, 1949 in Logan, Utah to Thomas Babbitt Jr. and Myrna Pruitt (Asay). She grew up in Malad until she was 16 when she moved to Great Falls, Montana to live with her father.

Throughout her life she worked as a beautician, housekeeper and a drug and alcohol counselor. She married Kevin Broberg, the love of her life, on September 20, 1981. They moved to Billings and built a house which was Barbara’s pride and joy. She loved working in the yard and just enjoyed being outdoors. She also loved telling anyone who would listen about her talented son, his amazing wife and the new antics of her three grandsons.

She is survived by her husband, Kevin Broberg; her son Joel (Tanya) Witte, and three grandsons; Hudson, Cooper and Hayden; her mother Myrna Asay of Malad; two sisters; Kathy (Scott) Randall of Twin Falls and Susan Babbitt of North Carolina; and three brothers; Bill (Nancy) Asay and Michael (Cathy) Asay of Malad, and Ty Babbitt of North Carolina; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.
