Arnold Archibald

Arnold Archibald, 80, of 1332 E. Cedar, died Thursday (19 Nov. 1987) at his home.

He was born Feb. 28, 1907 in Malad, the son of Willard and Elizabeth Bigler Archibald and attended schools in Malad.

On June 18, 1947 he married Arvella Caroline Cazier in Elko, Nev., and they have made their home in Pocatello where Mr. Archibald farmed and for 35 years was employed at Pacific Fruit Express.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and carpentry work.

Survivors include his wife of Pocatello; four sons, Gary Lynn Archibald, Pocatello, George Garrard, Salt lake City, Utah, Marlan Archibald, Inkom, and Gerald Garrard, Pocatello; three daughters, Mrs. Wade (Laura Rae) Hartman, Pocatello, Mrs. Cecil (Carla) Flint, Idaho Falls, and Mrs. Elton (Roleta) Eslinger, Portland, Oregon; two brothers Chester Archibald, Chubbuck, and Bruce Archibald, Moab, Utah; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and four brothers.

Funeral services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Manning Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 7-8 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to services at Manning Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
