Arlene Potter Anderson

PHOENIX, AZ – Arlene Potter Anderson left this earth unexpectedly on October 12, 2002 in Phoenix.

Mom was born August 6, 1937 in Garland, UT, to Effie and Herman Potter. She married her best friend and love of her life, Keith Anderson, on July 18, 1958.
Mom lived in West Fielding and Salt Lake City until her marriage. She then lived in Wales, Ephraim and Pleasant View for many years.
Mom and Dad owned and operated the Weber Livestock Auction in Ogden from 1972-1997. They sold the business and retired, living in Malad, ID in the summer and Phoenix, AZ in the winter where they trained and raced their horses at Turf Paradise.
She was an avid fan of her children and grandchildren in sports, rodeo and horse racing. Mom’s most treasured time was spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. She was a friend to all who knew her.
Mom is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Keith Anderson; two sons and three daughters: Jerry (Teddy) Anderson, Plain City; Connie (Bart) Hone and Dale Anderson, both of Phoenix, AZ; Kaylene (Jeff) Kirkpatrick, Hesperia, CA; Debbie (Doug) Harbertson, Plain City; 14 grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
Also surviving are one sister and three brothers, Diane Roche, Don Potter, Dean Potter and Merrill Potter.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Effie Manning Potter and her father, Herman Potter.
Funeral services will be held Friday at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary. Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery.
