Ardella T. Byington

Ardella T. Byington, 82, of Elko, Nev., died Tuesday, March 18, 1997 in Elko, Nevada from natural causes.
She was born March 11, 1915 at Holbrook, Idaho, the daughter of Albert and Mary Johnson Tubbs. She was reared in Holbrook and attended Malad High School.
While working in Rockland, Idaho, she met and later married William Ordell Byington. They were married Jan. 19, 1938 in Ogden, Utah. They were later sealed in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple for all time and eternity.
They lived in Nevada, California, Idaho, and had recently moved to Elko, Nev. They owned and operated the Snack Out Drive Inn in Twin Falls, Idaho for many years.
Ardella’s favorite pastime was sewing. Her loving hands kept her family well supplied in quilts. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and will be missed by many. She was loved by all.
She is survived by her husband, William Odell Byington of Elko, Nev.; three sons and their wives, Williams Odell (Roselind) Byington of Pocatello, Idaho; Dennis Joe (Carolyne) of Boise, Idaho; and Danny Kay (Shirleen) Byington of Elko, Nev.; four sisters, Letha Tubbs Neal of Malad, Idaho; Oreta Tubbs Moon of Pocatello, Idaho; Golda Tubbs Misenhimer of American Falls, Idaho and Hazel Tubbs Hansen of Sugar City, Idaho; four brothers, Verl Tubbs of Blackfoot, Idaho; Earl Tubbs of Malad, Idaho, Orvil Tubbs of Holbrook, Idaho and Junior Tubbs of American Falls, Idaho; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, LaDell, her parents, one sister, Alta Tubbs, and one brother, Dean Tubbs.
The funeral services were held Saturday, March 22, 1997 at the Pingree, Idaho LDS First Ward.
Interment was in the Valley View Cemetery, Rockland, Idaho.
