Word has been received by Raymond J. Evans of the death of his brother, Amos J. Evans of Redwood City, CA, December 28, 1980.

He was born March 28, 1912, the son of William Morgan and Mary Jones Evans in Malad. He married Margret E. Turner May 3, 1926. They were later divorced. He then married Edith Crockett February 22, 1958.

He is survived by his wife and one daughter. Also three brothers and two sisters: Raymond J. Malad; Lester, Grass Valley, CA; Edward, San Francisco, CA; Mrs. A.J. (Bonnie) Cavana, Alameda, CA and Mrs. Herman (Leah) Cohl, San Francisco, CA.

He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
