Alice Thews Daniels

Alice Thews Daniels, 83, 730 South Fourth, died Sunday night November 14, 1963 in Bannock Memorial Hospital, Pocatello, Idaho.

She was born Aug. 11, 1880 in Malad, Idaho a daughter of William and Millie Peck Thews. She lived in Malad until she war married to Walter M. Daniels in 1904. They dry-farmed in Pauline for about 12 years when they came to Pocatello, Idaho.

Mrs. Daniels had lived with a daughter, Mrs. Harry Woodworth of Pocatello, for several years.

Her husband preceded her in death in 1925.

She was a member of the Rebekkah Lodge.

Surviving are two sons, William Thews Daniels, Pocatello, and Walter Spencer Daniels, Spokane, Wash; two daughters, Mrs. Harry (Blanche) Woodworth, and Mrs. Elmer (Gertrude) Christiansen, Pocatello; five grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and two sisters, Mrs. Julia Warren, and Mrs. Blanche Kirk, Spokane, Wash.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11a.m. in the Manning Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jo Austin Lininger, First Presbyterian Church, officiating.

Burial will be in the Malad Cemetery under the direction of the Manning Funeral Chapel.
