After graduating, LaRue met the love of her life; Stephen L Muir Jr. They were married on October 15, 1965 and would celebrate 53 years together this October. On April 1, 1968, Steve and LaRue were sealed in the Salt Lake City, Utah temple. Steve and LaRue had 5 children; Stephen III, Theron-Ray, Pollyanna, Brian and Rebecca. LaRue was a loving and caring person who loved her family and extended family and dedicated her entire life to them. LaRue was well known for her wedding cakes, wood-working, cooking, canning and most of all for doing hair. LaRue had a firm testimony of the Savior and enjoyed her various callings as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was welcomed in death by her father, mother, brother Bob, brother-in-law Max, Sisters-in-law Kathy and Judy, and her in-laws Stephen and Mona.
