Alice was an excellent seamstress and made dozens of embroidered, crocheted, and knit items that will be distributed to her family and friends. She was devoted to her sister Edith, who passed away in 1990. Besides handwork, Alice loved her cats, eating at the Dude Ranch and Malad Drive In, and watching her favorite television shows.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Edith, brothers-in-law Jim Little and Clair Huggins, and a nephew, Jimmy Little. She is survived by her brother James (Tucson, Arizona), her sister Ellen Huggins (Bear River City, Utah), her nephews Paul Jones, David Jones, and John Little, her nieces Kathy Jones and Barbara Jones, and her cousins Gail Mathews Gibby, Jean Thomas, Lucille Thomas Washburn, Boyd J.Thomas, and Dick Thomas.

The family would like to thank the staff at Nell J. Redfield Memorial Hospital and the staff in the Critical Care Unit at Portneuf Medical Center for their care of Alice in the last several months as her health failed. The family would also like to thank the Malad Third Ward, especially her home and visiting teachers, for their kind watchcare and Shirley Carter for her home health care of Alice.

In lieu of flowers, food, or other donations, the family asks that donations be made toward Alice’s funeral expenses through an account at U.S. Bank at 25 East 50 South in Malad.
